March Is Doing Too Much
Eclipses, stelliums, and the art of not spiraling
Hey friends!
First, I want to acknowledge the obvious: the world is currently a shitshow. I’m sure many of you feel how heavy things are right now, headline after headline. Whether it’s the latest stupid thing the U.S. government has decided to do, the genocides taking place, the Epstein files and total lack of accountability, the lawlessness of world leaders, or the ongoing fight for basic human rights—the list is long, and none of it is light. Personal or societal, there’s a harsh reality at every turn. We might wish it weren’t the case, but looking away isn’t an option anymore. Not with the way things are escalating.
With Mars having entered Pisces, and the stellium we currently have swimming around there, this is actually one of the better times to get imaginative with our problem-solving. Things are likely to get more outlandish, and sometimes fighting absurdity requires meeting it with equal absurdity—so long as it still pushes us forward. And as I'm sure you've heard, we’re also in for a lunar eclipse in Virgo whose ruler is currently fallen and retrograde.
One way this eclipse seems to be showing up is by pushing things toward their potentials—specifically through whatever its closing out or forcing you to confront. This may initially look like a setback, and it may even trigger some anxious feelings, but strangely it also carries a sense of relief, especially in the Virgo part of your chart. It’s as if the universe were softening the impact of what could’ve been a harsher call-out.
This month is a reminder that not everything deserves your effort, but don’t let that become the reason you stop fighting for what matters. Lean into what aligns with your values and readjust to meet things where they actually are—not where you wish they were. Don’t get distracted by the “what ifs.” Be intentional with what is in your control and let the rest flow, that’s the Piscean way.
As Venus moves into Aries and conjoins Saturn and Neptune, we may start questioning the intentions of others, or even the intention behind art, aesthetics, media, and products. Be mindful of propaganda and curated narratives. These transits can stir confusion and suspicion, but they also give us the courage to be more direct about what we want, expect, or stand for. It won’t be perfectly smooth (honesty rarely is) but being upfront now saves you from messier miscommunications later. So as the month unfolds, let your interactions prioritize clarity over ambiguity. Lean into transparency… if you can lol. The effort is always worth it with Venus in Aries.
As Jupiter stations direct later on, there’s a long-awaited shift toward stability for the Pisces and Sagittarius parts of your chart. This brings fresh perspective to what may have been a period of questioning your ideas, laws, beliefs, or whether something still fits into the larger picture of your life. What felt uncertain or destabilizing might suddenly feel like a breakthrough or a turning point.
With Mars and Mercury coming together right before Mercury stations direct, brace yourself for difficult conversations, reactive engagement, rage bait, petty behavior, or ruminating discussions. Nothing you’re not already familiar with on the internet but nonetheless, try not to fall for the bait.
Shortly after the New Moon in Pisces, the Sun enters Aries, illuminating a Saturn that’s… not doing great. This can highlight what’s actually been holding us back—physical limitations, outdated beliefs, burnt-out systems, or even our refusal to pivot. This is the moment to face those uncomfortable truths with honesty. It’s a call to reclaim your agency and acknowledge the shifts that are necessary, even if they’re inconvenient or uncomfortable.
By the end of the month, Venus moves into Taurus, blessing whatever part of your chart she lands in. Venus in Taurus amplifies our appreciation for comfort, pleasure, luxury, sensuality, stability—all the things that make life feel worth living. With everything going on in the world, this transit is a reminder to savor what’s good while it’s here. Enjoy life’s pleasures as much as you can; you never know how long they’ll last. Slow down, touch something soft, eat something good, appreciate beauty. In a world full of so much shit, don’t forget to smell the flowers.
As with most floating transits, there’s only so much I can say about how things will manifest individually so I tried to keep this piece a bit more introspective.
If you’ve made it this far, you might be wondering where the monthly calendar or transit list is… and I’m sorry to say I’ll be taking my own advice and pivoting away from that kind of content. I’ve loved making those calendars for y’all every month, but it hasn’t been fulfilling for me in a while, and that’s usually my sign that something needs to shift.
You’ll still hear from me every month (don’t worry) but Mori’s Nook is returning to what it was meant to be: a space for my musings, reflections, and the things I actually feel called to talk about. I hope you stay with me for whatever comes next.
As always, I’m wishing you all the best. Stay grounded, stay aware, and keep leaning into the things that align with you.
